While shooting distant landscape images on a quiet Saturday morning, I was fortunate to capture this image of motorcyclists crossing the Arizona- Utah state border. A Lee .3 graduated neutral density filter was used to darken the sky and background, and a B&W polarizer filter was used to eliminate glare from the rocks, road and motorcycles. Exposure: 1/80 sec at F/14. Shot with a Nikon D200 camera, Nikkor DX 18-70 mm 1:3.5 - 4.5G ED lens, and a Gitzo G 2220 tripod with a Manfrotto 486 head.
