"Located in South Coyote Buttes, Cottonwood is one of our favorite locations for exploration and some time truly removed from civilization. This remote spot is not nearly as popular as the Wave at North Coyote Buttes, as it is only accessible by barely passable four-wheel driving roads and there are no marked hiking trails. We have enjoyed several long days in the vicinity , where we encountered few, if any, other hikers, Truly, this is still a silent place: a remote oasis for a bit of quiet reflection."
